Pickens County Georgia is hiring for Full-time Communications Officer

This night shift position is responsible for answering emergency and non-emergency calls and for dispatching appropriate personnel. An incumbent in this position may be designated “Communications Officer Trainee.”

Training will be completed during day shift hours then the employee will transition to the night shift hours of, 6:45pm – 6:45am with the following schedule:

• Monday – on
• Tuesday – on
• Wednesday – off
• Thursday – off
• Friday – on
• Saturday – on
• Sunday – on

The following week the days on/off are reversed.
